My Arm Workout Routine

I’m still trying to get used to this vlogging thing, so this video happens to be much shorter then the last one. I’ll figure it out don’t worry. In this video I do an arm workout with Alan, go to work, and then go home and make dinner. Damn my life is interesting. This was a pretty normal weekday for me. You may think that all I ever do is work and cook, and you’d be right.

Alan and I are getting back into working out and this was a pretty standard arm workout for us. If you notice in my workout montage that I happen to turn bright red, don’t worry. That happens any time I workout. I’m just super pale and I blush very easily. Because I’m just getting back into working out I don’t want to do anything too intense. I find having a routine useful when I want to stick with things. In the past I’ve made the mistake of working out too intensely. My body would feel too sore or get injured. I found it hard to start again every time this happened. This time I’m starting slowly, but still challenging myself. I want to see results without draining myself too much. I focus on these exercises because I want to strengthen my shoulders and triceps and these motions target those muscles.

  • 30 minutes on elliptical
  • Shoulder lateral raisers 3 x 10
  • Shoulder presses with a twist 3 x 12
  • Upright rows 3 x 12
  • Tricep pull downs 4 x 12
